What if a I have trouble or questions during their process?
If you have any trouble submitting your claim for reimbursement, just reach out to support@truemed.com. Their team is ready to help provide whatever information your HSA/FSA administrator needs. And if they’re ultimately unable to help get your claim approved, the $20 Truemed fee will be refunded.
How do I get reimbursed?
Trumed emails you with the signed LMN and includes tailored instructions for how to submit purchases to your HSA/FSA admin. Each admin has a different portal for reimbursement claim submission, but the process is generally the same:
What information do I receive?
Once you complete your application, you’ll receive a confirmation email right away, along with a receipt for the one-time consultation fee. After your application is reviewed, you’ll get another email letting you know whether it was approved or not. You’ll also get access to your own account and login, plus answers to common questions to help guide you through the next steps. (See below for an example of the confirmation email and additional information.)
Can I pay for the program directly w/ their HSA/FSA funds?
Do not attempt to pay directly with your HSA or FSA card. For compliance reasons, purchases made this way will be denied, and you won’t receive the required Letter of Medical Necessity. Because this is a subscription product, it must be purchased out-of-pocket first and then submitted for reimbursement through your HSA/FSA provider.
How often do I need a letter to be eligible for reimbursement?
With your Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN), you can get reimbursed through your HSA/FSA for eligible products and services for up to 12 months. After that period, you’ll need to complete a new qualification to receive an updated LMN.
