COUNTDOWN UNTIL THE NEXT OPEN ENROLLMENT
Family Medicine Physician
As a family medicine physician and member of the E2M fitness program since May 2020, I have personally experienced the transformative power of the program. When I joined, I was 5’11” and 214 pounds, but through the program, I was able to reach my goal weight of 185 pounds. The program not only helped me achieve my own weight loss goals, but it also made it easier for me to help my patients improve their overall wellness. In the office, I often have limited time with each patient, but by referring them to E2M, I am able to provide them with a comprehensive approach to lifestyle modification that goes beyond the 15-20 minutes we have in an appointment.
One of the things I love about E2M is the meal plan, which is simple to follow and can save money in the long run. After the first week of detox, I noticed a significant increase in my energy levels, which I attribute to the removal of sugar, vegetable oil, and refined carbs from my diet. These items are prevalent in the standard American diet and can contribute to obesity and chronic conditions.
In addition to the meal plan, the workouts provided by E2M can be done at home or at the gym with minimal equipment, making it easy to fit into a busy schedule. I do my circuit in the morning before work, and it takes less than an hour.
But perhaps the most valuable aspect of the program is the community of E2M members. The support, positivity, and accountability in the Facebook group have been instrumental in my weight loss journey and have helped me to believe in humanity again. E2M may be a large program, but it still feels small due to the intimate connections you form with others in the group. I have no doubt that the E2M fitness program and its comprehensive approach to health and wellness can help others achieve their own weight loss and wellness goals.
